What happens after you send it
A report is not a form that disappears into a queue. Here is the path it takes.
Step 1
It reaches the team
Your notice lands with the people who handle trust and safety at LinkScale, with the URLs and the statements already structured.
Step 2
A person reviews it
We check the reported URLs against our Community Standards, our Terms and the law. Nothing is decided by a filter alone.
Step 3
We act on the link
Where a whole page infringes, we disable the page or the link. Where only part of it does, we can disable that link alone.
Step 4
Both sides are told
The page owner is notified of the claim and may file a counter notification. You get our answer at the address you gave us.
One limit worth knowing before you file: LinkScale can disable a page or a link created on the platform, it cannot edit or delete content that lives on someone else's site. What we cut is the access our tools give to it.
If someone is in immediate danger, do not start here
Contact your local emergency services first, then come back and file the report. Content that sexualises or exploits a minor is escalated to the competent authorities and the account is terminated. Pick the Child safety category and it is handled as urgent.
File your report
The fields follow the category you pick, so a copyright notice asks for everything the DMCA requires and a spam report does not.
You can also write to our designated copyright agent at [email protected].
The rules a report is measured against
Your page was disabled by mistake?
A takedown can be answered. File a counter notification with our designated agent and the content is restored within 10 to 14 business days, unless the complainant takes the case to court.
