Counted in real characters, the way a person counts them: an emoji is one, a flag is one, a styled letter is one. Line breaks and invisible characters count too.
Instagram bio fonts, copy and paste
Not fonts, character substitutions. That is why they survive a paste into an app that never loaded our stylesheet.

Screen readers cannot read these. A styled letter is a maths symbol wearing a costume, so assistive tech spells it out one character at a time or skips it. Keep your name and your key line in plain text, and use a style for decoration only.
Styled words drop out of search. Instagram matches the actual characters, so a name or a keyword in a Unicode style is no longer found by people typing it normally. Same for hashtags: a styled hashtag is a different hashtag.
Line breaks that survive the Instagram bio field
Instagram collapses empty lines when you save, so a spaced-out bio comes back as one block. Putting an invisible character on each empty line makes the line no longer empty, and it stays.
Your paste-ready version appears here.
The invisible character is U+2800 (⠀), a blank braille pattern. It is a real character, so it counts towards your 150, which is why the counter measures the version you paste, not the one you typed.
Symbols and emojis
Click anything to drop it exactly where your cursor is, in whichever field you were last editing.
Insertion happens at the cursor, not at the end, and the cursor stays put afterwards so you can keep typing.
Bio templates
Ten structures that already say something. Replace the highlighted fields and you have a finished bio.

Every highlighted field is a placeholder. Nothing here is filler: if you delete a line, the bio still reads as a bio.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
How do you copy and paste Instagram bio fonts that stick?
Instagram lets you set exactly one font for your bio, and it is not this one. Every stylish bio you have ever seen works around that the same way, and the trick is worth understanding before you use it.
They are characters, not fonts
This Instagram bio generator font list does not restyle your letters, it swaps each one for a different Unicode character that happens to look bold, italic or gothic. The style travels with the text, which is why it survives a copy and paste into an app that never loaded our page.
Nothing ever disappears
Each style is a lookup table, so a character with no equivalent is left exactly as it was. Accents, Arabic, Japanese, punctuation and emoji pass through untouched instead of vanishing, which is what happens on tools built out of find-and-replace rules.
One tap on a phone
Most people write their bio on the phone they post from. Every style has its own copy button, the clipboard call has a fallback for in-app browsers that block it, and if both are refused the text is selected for you so a long press finishes the job.
Twenty four styles, and the honest labels
Bold, italic, script, gothic, monospace, double struck, small caps, bubbles, squares, aesthetic wide, spaced out, upside down, strikethrough and more. The ones that rely on rarer Unicode blocks are marked as risky rather than quietly handed to you.
Why do line breaks disappear from an Instagram bio?
This is the single most searched problem with Instagram bios, and it has nothing to do with your keyboard. Here is what happens, and what the space tool on this page does about it.
Instagram collapses empty lines on save
You write four tidy lines with air between them, you hit Done, and the bio comes back as one paragraph. The app trims whitespace-only lines, so a line containing nothing at all is a line worth deleting as far as it is concerned.
An invisible character makes the line real
The fix is to put something on the empty line that takes up no visual space. This tool inserts U+2800, a blank braille pattern. It is invisible, it is not whitespace, and the trimmer therefore leaves the line alone.
A zero-width space is the wrong answer
Most advice online says to use U+200B. It gets stripped by the same pass that removed your empty line, which is why people try it, see it fail and conclude that Instagram bio line breaks are impossible.
Trailing spaces go too
The tool also trims the spaces at the end of each line, because those are removed on save and would otherwise shift your alignment after the fact. What you copy is what the field will keep.
What makes an aesthetic Instagram bio with emoji?
Two ingredients, and they do different jobs. Symbols give a bio structure, emojis give it meaning. Using one where the other belongs is what makes a bio look cluttered.
Symbols are for structure
Stars, arrows, rules, hearts, shapes and ready-made dividers, grouped by theme so you are picking a look rather than scrolling a wall of glyphs. A divider between two blocks does more for an aesthetic Instagram bio than five more emojis ever will, and these are plain punctuation characters, so they render everywhere.
Emojis are for meaning
Search by what you mean, not by scrolling: type coffee, camera or heart. Each one goes in at your cursor, not at the end of the line, and the cursor stays where it was so you can carry on typing. One emoji per line, doing the job of a label, reads better than a decorative row of them.
What nobody tells you about stylish Instagram bio fonts
Four real costs. None of them mean you should not use a Unicode style, all of them change where you should use one, and no other generator will say so.
Screen readers cannot read them
A styled letter is a mathematical symbol, so assistive technology either spells it out character by character or skips the word entirely. Keep your name and your one important line in plain text, and let the decoration be decoration.
Search stops finding you
Instagram matches the actual characters someone types. A name or a keyword written in a Unicode style is no longer the same string, so it drops out of results. A styled hashtag is a different hashtag, with a different, usually empty, feed behind it.
Some devices show empty boxes
A character your reader does not have in any installed font renders as a hollow rectangle. Small caps, squared letters and upside-down text are the usual suspects, so those styles carry a risk label here instead of looking fine on your phone and broken on theirs.
Styled text costs the same 150
A widespread belief says a fancy font somehow fits more in. It does not. Instagram counts characters, and one styled letter is one character, exactly like the plain one it replaced. The counter on this page measures grapheme clusters, so an emoji counts as one and a flag counts as one, which is how a person counts and how the limit behaves.

Need more than the one link Instagram gives you? See how a LinkScale link in bio page works
Your bio has one link. It should be worth the tap.
A styled bio gets someone to the bottom of your profile. What happens next is the only part that pays for the effort, and a raw URL in the link field tells you nothing about it.
One link, everything behind it
A LinkScale page holds your shop, your latest drop, your booking form and your other profiles, so you stop rewriting the bio every time something changes.
See who actually taps
Taps, countries, devices and what people did next. A bare link in your bio gives you a number in a dashboard you do not own, if that.
Send people to the right place
Route iOS one way and Android another, or by country, so a follower lands in the app rather than in a mobile browser that asks them to log in again.
Instagram bio generator questions

The Instagram bio limit is 150 characters. It counts characters, not words and not bytes, and line breaks count as characters too. A letter in a Unicode style takes exactly as much room as a plain letter, so a stylish font never buys you extra space. The counter here measures grapheme clusters, so an emoji, a flag and an accented letter each count as one, which is what the platform behaves like and what a person expects.
